Series: Gaius Ruso #5 I'm not sure why, but I found this one more engaging than I remember the other books in the series being. Of course, it still seemed to go on a while and some of the events seemed a bit ridiculous, but it was still mostly fun. Ruso and Tilla found themselves back in Britain...
I still can't decide how I feel about this series. Ruso still did quite a bit of bumbling but it seemed to be purposeful bumbling. Maybe one more book once I get my current library shelf cleared off.

I’ve never been fan of the Romans and this didn’t make me like then any more… Although the Britons nor the Iceni were any better really…The book consist works by seven ...
I’m not actually entirely sure if I liked this book, but it was just what needed for a day when I felt awful and just wanted to lie on the couch and read.
