This is a fairly typical "goodnight" board book in which a child says goodnight to everything (goodnight toes, goodnight stuffed animals, etc.) before finally going to bed. Really cute illustrations.

Imagine the process in the child's head! Birds fly, I fly (on a swing), so I am a bird! That's awesome! Now I want to pretend all the time using the things around me and developing my imagination!

Almost poetry. Hilarious. Endearingly illustrated. Perfect size for a child to hold and a parent to read. A classic.

This book is too cute! A great gift for a baby shower. The illustrations are sweet and the reasons for a hold keep popping back up through-out the book.

One of my VERY FAVORITE childhood books. A simple book to read, but still found it humorous even as I got older.
