This is an OK short story, but I am glad that it wasn't any longer. It didn't really go anywhere at all, and was all a bit pointless in the end. Perhaps I am too thick to "get it."
On the positive side, Ms. Griffiths continued on with Ruth's level of sarcasm that I absolutely love. On a negative side, I couldn't figure out the purpose for this short novella. It was basically a Christmas story with no mystery. I probably could have passed on this one.
