I had heard this was a good book and my library had it on audio so I thought I'd try it. I listened for about half an hour then turned it off. I couldn't follow the story very well and in my mind I kept comparing it to the Masterpiece Theatre series I watched years ago on the wives of Henry VIII. ...
I loved this book! I listened to it on audio, and loved every minute of it. It would make a great movie.
One of those stories that are enhanced by good readers. The narration by Bianca Amato & Jill Tanner made even the most gothic touches believable.
