Ryan Dixon has worked in creative development for Paramount Pictures, MGM, IMAX, The New York Times and World Wrestling Entertainment and has often been employeed as a script doctor and ghostwriter. As a "blogumnist" for Fierceandnerdy.com Ryan mainly writes about his obsessions including (but not limited to) themed furniture stores, the McRib, Mandy Patinkin and beef stick. In addition to his writing, Ryan has directed over a dozen theatrical productions in Los Angeles, New York and Pittsburgh including THE BOOMERANG KID, an interactive "choose your own adventure" play that LA Weekly called "ingenious." Dixon also wrote and directed the award-winning horror short film JOHN DUNN'S LAST RUN. Dixon received both a B.F.A. and Masters of Entertainment Technology from Carnegie Mellon University. He lives in Los Angeles, but spends most of his time stuck in traffic on the 405.HELL HOUSE: THE AWAKENING is his first graphic novel but with your help, dear Amazon customer, it won't be his last.
