In my opinion this is very different from the other Nicholas Sparks books that I have read. The characters are amazing and I loved Alex and Katie's relationship. I do wish that the book focused more on their relationship instead of Katie's past.
Nicholas Sparks, I was honestly beginning to wonder about your soul. I mean I wasn't sure if you had a heart and enjoyed being a sadist writer. but you have remedied yourself with this story and thank you for that. (yes I maybe exaggerating a bit on the analysis :) )

While Nicholas Sparks is not a fantastic writer, he does know how to tell a love story any girl will fall for. Overall the writing was predictable and flat, but the more I read, the more I needed to finish.

I didn't actually read it... I watched it... And I don't have a plan to read it. But yes, I like it okay, I was actually expecting to cry because the two books I read from Nicholas Sparks ended up with me crying my eyes out. Soooo... no, I didn't cry.Yes, good movie. But a bit boring, IMO.
