Sally Price, now retired and dividing her time between Martinique and Paris, has taught at Princeton, Stanford, University of Minnesota, William & Mary, and the Federal Museum of Bahia, Brazil. Her books, many of which straddle the fields of art, anthropology, and museum studies, include Primitive Art in Civilized Places (published in English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese) and Paris Primitive: Jacques Chirac's Museum on the Quai Branly (published in English and French).
