Sally Wyatt is Programme Leader of the e-Humanities Group of the Royal Netherlands Academy for Arts and Sciences (http://ehumanities.nl), Professor of Digital Cultures in Development at Maastricht University, and Director of the Netherlands Graduate Research School for Science, Technology and Modern Culture (www.wtmc.net). Her research focuses on digital inequalities and on the everyday uses of web-based technologies by people looking for health information and by scholars engaged in research. Wyatt grew up in Canada, and completed her BA in economics at McGill University before moving to England to do her MA in economics at Sussex University. She completed a PhD in Science and Technology Studies at Maastricht University in 1998. She has previously worked at the Universities of Sussex, Brighton, East London and Amsterdam, before joining the Academy in 2006.
