Series: Hell's Eight (Book 2) Every Texan woman knows the men of Hell's Eight offer wild, no-strings-attached pleasure. Well, almost every woman... Known for making up his own rules of right and wrong, Texas Ranger Sam "Wildcard" MacGregor takes what he wants when he wants it, especially when it c...
7/08 - This was even better than Caine's Reckoning. The banter between Sam and Bella was great, especially Bella's misuse of common phrases, which Sam constantly had to correct. I was a little disappointed to find there was almost nothing revolving around the rest of Hell's Eight, Caine and Desi w...
I think Sam is a great hero, but I took a while to warm up to Bella... and she was the reason I can't rate this book higher.. something about her didn't quite sit right with me.. Certainly not my favorite of the series but not the worst.
This is Sam's story. Another Hell's Eight hot, sexy, alpha man! In this story, contrary to Caine's, Sam is the one who struggles with his demons. Bella is the one who know, almost since the beginning, that she wants Sam and she's doing everything she can to get him.The dialogue is so spakly and fun....
I fluctuated between 3 to 3.5 stars with this one because now I've read at least five books in a row with this author. She satisfies the smut craving without too many turn-offs. She satisfies the alpha craving. I think I've stayed somewhat interested for the setting and the initial characterization...
I listened to this, and this one had a male narrator. I wasn't sure how that was going to work -- I really liked the narrator for Caine's Reckoning -- but ultimately it wasn't very distracting. He did a deep Sam voice really well. His Bella voice was lacking, lol, but it's gotta be hard for a guy wi...
Great read!Loved this book! It takes you to a different place and stays with you till the very end. At the end there seemed to be a disconnect between the H and H, so that was a surprise and not in a nice way, it was almost as if the author got tired of writing the book? But otherwise, a great read!...
I read a few of this authors short stories and then a few of her regular books and kept putting this book and another to the back burner because the back cover story didn't sound so appealing. Actually, it turned out to be a very good story, very romantic and sweet. Bella is running away from a ho...
