Dr. Samuel Zinner (http://independent.academia.edu/samuelzinner) is a multidisciplinary scholar who specializes in fields including Holocaust and genocide studies, ancient and modern history, indigenous studies, linguistics, cognitive science, philosophy, philosophy of science, world religions, world literature, and poetics. He contributed to the ground-breaking study, German Scholars and Ethnic Cleansing: 1919-1945, which was awarded the American Library Association's prestigious "Choice Academic Book of the Year Award" for 2005. He also contributed to the encyclopedic Holocaust study Handbuch der völkischen Wissenschaften (Munich: K. G. Saur, 2008). His work has been published by Oxford University Press, De Gruyter, Berghahn Books, and other notable presses internationally.
