I enjoyed this Christmas Romance. I voluntarily chose to review this. I've given it a 5* review. It takes part of history and entwines it with around our time. Very interesting. Just how well do we know each other and what sorrows do we hide from others.

Fast Women The Characters Gabe Nell And a bunch of other folks. The Story This story was really interesting and really complicated. A who-done-it story laced with friendship, comedy and love. The Random Thoughts This story once again proves that I can not go wrong with a Jennifer Crusie book. Bu...

I was in need of an audiobook, so I turned to a coworker and asked which book I should listen to next. She turned a little red and told me about this series that has, like, a million books and she's read all of them and loved every single one. She then went on to explain that the books take place in...

I love a Jennifer Crusie book but OMG this one! It wasn't bad but it was CRAZY! Hit men and would be hit men coming left and right, crazy grandma stealing and sabotaging and flamingos! Oh the flamingos! Despite the chaos I enjoyed the story. Shane and Agnes make a really cute couple who I believe wi...

I think I've mis-shelved this book. It doesn't really belong on "Heaving Bosoms" , but I refuse to start a "Fluttering Bosoms", so what can you do. I'm reading this Cedar Cove series because my family is doing it sort of as a group reading, and I'd like to stay in the loop with the family conversati...

The phenomenal #1 New York Times-bestselling author presents a novel set deep in the bayou of Louisiana-where the only witness to a long-ago tragedy is a once-grand house. Declan Fitzgerald had always been the family maverick, but even he couldn't understand his impulse to buy a dilapidated mansion...

This book was an eye-opener. The things the authors talk about seem obvious, but for some reason one never think about the problem of procrastination that way. I've been dealing with procrastination since high school. Before that, I could do everything on time and did my house chores too without put...

Cady and MackCady was a wimp and boring. And I really didn't care for the narrator. Her voice as Cady grated on my nerves.

If I could use one word to describe this book, it would probably be “boring.” “Awkward” is a close runner-up. I think Elizabeth Strout must be the type of person who is less of the entertainment school of writing and more of the vitamins school of writing. But, I am left wondering what nutritiona...

As I start listening to this audiobook, I realized I had read it a long time ago. Probably when it first came out. It was a good enough book that almost 20 years later, I remember parts of it. The audiobook is good, but it is really dated. Once the narrator finally started using different voices...
