I worked as an editor for ten years before founding March Tenth, a literary agency and book packaging company, in 1981. Being around books has given me a chance to channel a range of interests, mostly in the areas of popular culture and music, and as Bruce Springsteen's art director, I have been able to work in my two favorite industries simultaneously. I was a founding editor of Dave Marsh's newsletter Rock and Rap Confidential, and I have taught book publishing at Lehman College in New York. The popular reference books I write with Harry Choron, my husband and business partner, are about looking at subjects from many angles and examining them each with curiosity, wonder, and humor.
