Sarah Barnard was born in Scotland, in 1969, grew up in various parts of England and now lives in Wales. Sarah writes character driven fantasy and sci fi, indulging in the out of the ordinary and allowing magic and strange occurrences to exist in her worlds. Featuring strong female characters and worlds familiar enough to be our own but not quite, Sarah's work is popular across a wide range of ages, enjoyed by pre-teen children through to grandparents.
