3.5 stars. I would have given this 4 stars if the characters in the book would have just communicated with each other about their feelings. I thoroughly enjoyed the book except for the bi-polar behavior of the main couple concerning those feelings. I don't think I've read a Regency romance yet that ...
*4 stars* I enjoyed reading the 6 short stories in A Timeless Romance Anthology: Under the Mistletoe. Even though they were all based on a Christmas theme, no two were alike. I liked the variety in these romances with a returning war vet, older widows and crushes who hadn't seen each other in years....
So when I heard about this book, I was skeptical but there was a part of me that really wanted to read it because any book that could, potentially, pull off a charming and fluffy romance between a ghost and a guy, oooh, I wanted to read that book. But, unfortunately for me, this book did not live up...
My first Sarah M. Eden book and I liked it. Nice storyline and characters. However there was something decidedly discordant about the storytelling. Other title option: Miscommunication and Connivings(Yeah!!) A charming book with lots of fun amidst all the tears. It was also really refreshing that the couple was already married, even though we did go through them falling in love (again?), it was still a nice change. Miranda and Carter are a ...
3.5 stars. I'm really enjoying the Jonquil brothers series. The books are short, clean romances that are fun to read. Really my only complaint is sometimes the characters are too slow to figure out the obvious.

So, of course, when I saw stack including Longing for Home at the Shadow Mountain booth at BEA I may have squeed a little. This is ...
3.5 stars. Ultimately, 3.5 stars. I loved the banter between Sorrel and Philip, but it did at times get very ... old. Nonetheless, I love Philip and this being my first Sarah M. Eden book, I will give the others a try!

As a child he was operated on in the facial region and has some serious insecurities in regards to his appearance. To mask the insecurities A...
