I am wondering why I rated this book 5 stars earlier . I re read this book and disliked the story . Did not like the h. The H was mean fellow. To be fair he did lose his family but still wth??

I wasn't very impressed with this book the first time I read it, but as controversial books tend to do, it lingered in my mind. Having reread it, I'm still somewhat ambivalent. Unlike many readers, I don't hate the hero; he does behave terribly, but he knows it and it is prompted by genuine anguish...
