Originally from India, Saurav Mohapatra currently lives in California and has written Devi, Sadhu, India Authentic and Ryders for Virgin Comics. He co-created Mumbai Macguffin and Jimmy Zhingchak for Virgin Comics and has contributed to the second volume of The Phantom Chronicles by Moonstone Books. He co-wrote the "Paper Monsters" arc (issues 140-141) of WITCHBLADE from Image/Top Cow with series regular writer Ron Marz (collected in the Witchblade: Redemption vol 2 Trade paperback).His most recent work is the hardboiled crime-noir graphic novel MUMBAI CONFIDENTIAL (Book 1 : GOOD COP, BAD COP) with artist Vivek Shinde (due out in March/April 2013 from Archaia).
