Scott A. Williams is a full-time freelance writer who has spent the past three decades reporting and writing for newspapers, magazines, and book publishers. He is the author of "The Steps They Took," an eBook published in September 2011 and available from Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Smashwords websites.Publications include the nationally respected Texas Monthly magazine, the Dallas Morning News, Hispanic Business magazine, the Houston Chronicle, Texas Highways, and dozens of other publications.He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor's degree in journalism and spent the next nine years covering a wide range of topics for various Texas newspapers. He left the newspaper business in 1994 to work in the challenging world of freelance reporting and writing.Scott co-authored "The Insiders Guide to Corpus Christi," a travel and relocation guide, "Haunted Texas," a travel guide of haunted Texas destinations, and "Images of America: Corpus Christi.""The Steps They Took" is his first novel.
