Scott Gibson is a Colorado native and persistent resident. Despite the occasional relocation to places like Arizona and California, he always scurries home to The Rocky Mountains eventually. He graduated from The University of Northern Colorado with a BFA in English, which should not be construed to mean he isn't perfectly capable of grievous grammatical errors and careless spelling mistakes. He is a past winner of the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers Colorado Gold for General Fiction and a recipient of The Rocky Mountain Theatre Association's Playwriting Competition Prize for his full-length comedy/drama "Someone Else's Life," published by Next Stage Press (www.nextstagepress.net).He cites as particular influences the work of Jon Hassler, Anne Tyler and poet Mary Oliver. If you aren't familiar with their work, well then, shame on you, and take steps to fix that, right away.Scott is a hiker, runner, animal rights activist, and has an unhealthy obsession with doughnuts, Disneyland and TV sitcoms. He prides himself on his ability to badger friends, acquaintances and loved ones with long, rambling e-mails and pointless Facebook postings.
