Scott H. Lewis is an American writer, speaker and lecturer residing in Ukraine. "I've always preferred the life of a well-versed generalist over that of a specialist," Lewis says. "If we are truly the sum of the people we meet, then we surely are also the sum of our experiences and our travels. That satisfies me."A public relations counselor, he is an accomplished speaker and corporate trainer. He is the former editor of the weekly Kyiv Post newspaper, The Ukrainian Observer magazine, and a book editor for Vidalia House publishing. Lewis is a former adjunct faculty member at Peninsula College in Washington state, and has travelled extensively in the United States and Europe in pursuit of his varied interests.He is the author of two non-fiction works: "The Kindness Cure: 52 Weeks to a More Fulfilling Life" and "Cruise Power: The Sail More, Pay Less Guide to Getting More from Your Cruise Vacation," and an anthology of short fiction, "The Widows Dance: Selected Short Stories of Contemporary Ukraine."His book for young readers, "A Crow's Day," has been translated into five languages. He regularly publishes articles on topics including public relations, marketing, presentation skills, and the media. He lives with his wife, Natalie, in Kyiv.
