After serving as a pastor of three churches and then professor at SMU, Scott Jones serves as bishop of the Great Plains Conference of The United Methodist Church. He lives in Wichita, Kansas, has an apartment in Lincoln, Nebraska and most lives out of his car. His latest book was co-authored by his son, Rev. Arthur Jones of Plano, Texas. The videos which introduce each chapter of "Ask: Faith Questions in a Skeptical Age" show Arthur and four other young clergy talking in a restaurant about the eight questions addressed in the book. The editors like their conversation so much, they cut the old guy's introduction down from 90 seconds to about 15 seconds. Scott is not mad--he is proud Arthur has launched his publishing career.Scott is married to Mary Lou Reece who is president of Reece Construction. While Scott is building spiritual bridges, Mary Lou is building concrete bridges. Arthur's sister Marynell is following her mother into that part of the family business. Scott's personal website is www.extremecenter.com where he has posted many resources on John Wesley, United Methodism, and evangelism.
