I only remember reading this series once but apparently I reread it two years ago? Huh. I related to the characters a lot more on this reread. I'm not sure what that says about me. I think every time I read the series I think I'll never read it again but here I am on my second reread so never say ...

Overall this isn't a bad series. It's entertaining, the characters are memorable. The story drags at times and there are tangents that I found unnecessary and uninteresting. But I'm not mad that I reread it. I think I'll stick to the movie from now on though.

This is the last and weakest of the Scott Pilgrim novels. The entire last half is the climatic fight. It also has the main characters Scott and Ramona maturing in their attitude to relationships. However, it seems to me that they have moved from one dysfunctional way of thinking about relationshi...

It's crazy how exact the film adaptation is of these books.. I was as astonished by the series after the movie, as I was before, and the film blows me away 10x more now.

The whole series isn't bad. There are some plot differences between the comic and the movie, but I like all the differences. I think some of them should have been left in the movie, but I understand why they weren't. (That being said, the movie does a pretty good job of following the comic.) Even th...

I LOVE a happy ending! :D4 stars for the series overall. This was SUCH a fun ride! All the ex-es were defeated, Scott and Ramona finally got together, Kim and Knives moved on with their lives, Neil and Stacey got together (I'm assuming - it wasn't very clear), Wallace was, well, Wallace, Stephen tur...

Series Overall: 4.5 STARS! The epic saga that is Scott Pilgrim is not only an absolutely bizarre story, but is equally brilliant in they way it has been written and designed. Although I didn't always completely-positively-"have my babies", love each and every volume this series has to offer, but I c...
