I enjoyed this story although it definitely had more violence in it that the others I have read by this author. Had a clear, easy to hate bad guy and I liked how the MCs gradually grew to care for each other despite the short length.
I think of all of Mistry's really overpriced books, this is the only one actually worth reading. It's got a plot. There's sex, and it was a bit random, but it kind of worked developmentally.It's got that sense of completeness in and of itself and it also delves a bit into some more profound concepts...
A well-written short piece (around 45 pages) featuring a slave and a captive merman - a grittier twist on the tale of the little mermaid.
