A class trip to the Empire State Building on a cloudy day turns out to be more exciting for a little boy. A cloud brings him to Sector 7, a cloud station. He helps the clouds find more exciting "assignments." Imaginative and beautifully illustrated.

I must not have had a "trippy" shelf when I logged this one. Wiesner is amazing, and probably the first author I'd suggest when telling people that picture books aren't just for kids.Library copy.
