Sadly, I never connected with the characters. The storyline was actually kind of boring. Priest and priestesses being sold and used for their powers were saved by a Militia group who the lead female communicated with through dreams.
I honestly can't say this book was bad, because it wasn't. It just had too much narrative for me. Alot of people like it, I tend to lose patience with it. This book also felt more sci-fi than paranormal romance but again, could just be me and my take on it.
