A fun historical romance with an entertaining plot but the action moved in slow baby steps with too much thinking about everything. I started skimming midway. Both the hero and heroine's attitudes changed too abruptly and weren't very believable. Annabelle works for newspaper owner Knightly and de...

I liked this one better than The Tattooed Duke, because the schemes were fun to watch. The ending was fine, but the epilogue was kind of meh. Would've been better without it.

Loved this book. Loved Annabelle. Wanted to hurt Derek. But loved the book nonetheless. The word "nodcock" is going to be one of my favorites. Highly recommended.

You don't have to be a longtime reader of Maya Rodale's Writing Girls series to enjoy this romance. But if you've been following along, you know it's about time for sweet and quiet Annabelle to finally get her HEA with the man she has been pining over for years: her boss, the completely oblivious De...

I had problems with this book. It was nothing with the author's writing but the characters. Having read the other books that feature such dominant and bold heroines, it was hard to connect with this heroine because she was NOT any of those things. I find it hard to rate books where the character ...
