Dante had been courting his victim in cyberspace for weeks before meeting her in person. A few sips of wine and a few hours later, she was dead. The murder weapon: a rare, usually undetectable date-rape drug with a street value of a quarter million dollars. Detective Eve Dallas is playing and replaying the clues in her mind. Another enjoyable entry to the series. Enjoyed the interludes with Peabody and McNab. Needed to refresh my brain about Dr Dimatto though!
This is one of the few of these that I remember. The start of the book (with Eve's nightmare and her missing Roarke) was familiar but it wasn't until the book goes to the suspects POV that I really remembered this book. I don't have that much to say about this book, aside from how disturbing it...
