Seed was an interesting novel. It’s the second book I’ve read by Ania Ahlborn (first one being The Devil Crept In). I didn’t really have any intentions on reading it. Just sort of grabbed it on the fly when I saw it was on Kindle Unlimited and one of the Goodreads groups I’m in was having a buddy re...
This was entertaining - I listened to it in the car during my commutes and it kept my mind off of traffic. But I thought it could have been much better. Someone described the book as southern gothic, but it didn't have a sense of place; it could have been set anywhere. It also lacked anything atm...

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! It definitely kept me engaged as it read like a movie. I could actually picture it. Now that isn't to say that I got several nights of good sleep while reading it. Lol. It scared the living daylights out of me and I had a few nightmares. But that's another thing that...

Soon after the accident? Well let’s just say things are very far from ok. Jack’s youngest daughter develops a high f...
Cross-posted on ReaderlingI have this compulsion to call this book "cute", which I think might come off as bitchy and insulting. I don't mean it that way though. Ania Ahlborn is a true talent... the words written like a veteran. It's hard to believe that Seed is her first novel. I would love to see this book as a movie. I recommend this to any fan of horror. 5+ stars!!
