Don't get me wrong, I didn't hate this second installment in the Looking Glass Wars but I didn't find it as enthralling as many others did. It didn't make me want to find a sequel, but I don't refuse to read it if I happen on it. However, I didn't really care, the characters are so over the top, s...

Not as good as the first, but the unique world of Beddor's Alice in Wonderland re-imagining is absolutely worth a revisit. Some of the writing shows up as clunky now that the novelty of Looking Glass Wars has worn off, but it is utterly readable and again, unique and interesting enough to keep me in...

Not a bad sequel. The writing, while still not descriptive, was a bit better than The Looking Glass Wars. The plot was a little better, and the characters were a bit more fleshed out. All in all, not bad, but not really great either.

This is the second book in The Looking Glass wars series. I absolutely loved the first book, but this one was a little hard for me to read. I had to force myself to continue through the chapters. Seeing Redd follows Redd in her quest to gather forces in order to continue her fight against Alyss. ...

I don't quite know where to start. While I praised the first book so much it has left me at a loss for words to explain how... mediocre this one was. The relationships are lacking so much. This was easily overlooked in the first book because they weren't as large a focal point as they are in this bo...

The first one felt like it had more of a conclusion. Looking at this, makes me think of the Matrix trilogy. Just having the first book would have been great. Seems like these next two are one big story that he just cut in half to market as two more books for more money.

This is the second book in "The Looking Glass Wars" by Frank Beddor. I'm always nervous about the second book in a trilogy because it always seems to be the weakest link of all of them. Usually it is just a book full of story build up so that the author has something huge to end it with in the last ...

I enjoyed the first book of this series and was eager to find out what happened. But this book just did not click. I did not feel attached to feelings and it felt like Alyss and Dodge's love and going against tradition was to easily accepted. Also nothing shocking happened that wasn't easy to see ha...

It was a pretty good sequel. There were some interesting twists and turns. Arch is a diabolical character and I can see why he and Redd are friends. I can't wait to read the final book in the trilogy.
