I received this book via NetGalley to give an honest review. Seize the Night is a straight up vampire book. I think there is a bit of something within each story that someone is going to enjoy. So if you don't like one story don't give up just give another story a try. I love anthologies and the wa...

You know an anthology is going to be special when 1) the stories are all new and written for said anthology; 2) the editor has stated his intention to ensure that all the tales will feature vampires that are evil, nasty, ravenous and do not sparkle (I may have added that last bit), and 3) that edito...

Seize the Night The Characters Valerius “Val” Magnus Tabitha Devereaux The Story Great addition to the series. I’m sorry I missed a few books (can’t find them on audio) because I can tell I’m missing some back story but not enough to not enjoy the overall story. The Random Thoughts Another non-in...

I don't even remember why I stopped reading this series years ago. But after reading this book I really wonder, what the hell was I thinking about. This book rocks. I've read this book. Now I'm listening to the audiobook. I love Val and hate that it took seemingly everyone to realize he wasn't his grandfather, father or brothers. Drove me crazy. Audiobook was nearly as good as when I first read the book.

For this review and more visit my blogI wasn’t sure what to expect from Seize the Night, I have only read a few Sherrilyn Kenyon books before and I haven’t really liked them. I was determined to read more from her because she is so loved by many other readers, I wanted to see what they all see and...

Whoops, forgot to review this one!I loved the relationship between Valerius and Tabitha. Both of them have been misunderstood (or subtly rewritten in this book) by those around them. Valerius is portrayed as an arrogant snob, Tabitha as an uncontrollable, scatty vampire-hunter wannabe but this novel...

Oh this was fun. Valerious is the Angsty Dark Hunter, who is formal, and Tabitha is a vampire hunter who is a live spark, and the two of them are thrown together when she almost kills him.

Holy shit! Best DH book so far! Val and Tabitha are perfect! This plot was so strong and dark. The return of Des was fucking crazy. Nick, omg :( So much from his sleeping with Simi and Ash almost killing him for it to his suicide to avenge his moms death. DH Nick and Simi
