Just with Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, I can't think of this book without cracking up. The ridiculousness of it works so perfectly, and now I couldn't for a moment image the original book without sea monsters and underwater cities.
After reading Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and loving it, I was really excited to get my hands on this book. It's not quite as good as P&P&Z, but that may be because I like zombies better than sea monsters and I like P&P better than S&S. Winters does a good job of mixing the new Sea Monster part...
Eh, I like the originals too much I guess to get into this. It was just silly to me. I only made it to page 64 and decided I had better things to do. It took 2 weeks to get that far.
