I actually liked The Audition better than Seraphina. I guess I was just desperately trying to sort out the saars from the saints from the Sons in Seraphina that I never really had a chance to enjoy Hartman's writing or the characters.
This was such a cute fun read! Ever since I first heard about Seraphina, I always wanted to read it. It had everything I could ask for, really. Fantasy and dragons! So! I went to the library and got the book. However, there was a certain novella I had to consider first. The Audition is a prequel to ...
Very short read, that I realized was an add on to the end of Seraphina. It was kind of funny. It didn't seem to necessary to the main book, however.
