*Book source ~ Library From Goodreads: Serenity: Better Days follows everyone's favorite space cowboys in a thrilling, action-packed adventure, where Mal and his crew take on a heist that promises a big payoff. But when one of Serenity's crew is taken captive and tortured, the gang must put their ...
I don’t know why I bothered. The illustrations may be a little better but the disjointed and confusing short story and its implications definitely weren’t for me. Serenity’s crew suddenly become filthy rich. For a while, anyway. And their ‘what I’d do if I were rich’ dreams were the only good thin...
If you are Firefly fan the story, in Serenity: Better Days, is one that could have been an episode from the early canceled television series. They have job, bad guys are after them, and then the job they had ends with them screwed over with no payment. I should also mention this all takes place bef...

I'm a big fan of the short-lived television series Firefly and the related feature film Serenity. Part Western, part Space Opera, Americana with a smattering of Chinese culture thrown in, it was a witty, intelligent series with the ability to evoke hysterical laughter in one episode, or move you to ...
This is infill stories, some before, during and after the series and film. I wouldn't recommend reading the last story without having seen the film, and honestly this is best if you know the backstory and the characters. It was an enjoyable read and I wouldn't mind owning a copy. The last panel b...
Better Days is set at some point before the movie, which made a few pages bittersweet to read. It's written very much like an episode of the show might have been, but it honestly wouldn't have been one of the better ones. Still a fun read for Firefly fans, but not as amazing as I might have hoped.
Serenity: Better Days Entertaining, but getting a bit repetitive. I’m always hoping to get to learn something new about the Firefly-verse, but there wasn’t much revealed here, except for the last story that takes place after the end of “Serenity” and Wash’s death. And that one was actually my leas...
Ok. Just not a whole lot going on. You'd think that if you take the time to publish a graphic novel, you'd bother to make it well worth your time, but apparently not so.
