I would definitely use this for an older/family story-time in the summer. :]
Max and Lili always have books that tell a story that is important in some way - this one has to do with what to do during vacation when there is little money, and Lili started being a bit of a little snob when she realized she was going camping with her family.
A book of idioms related to food and eating. Useful in teaching younger readers about this form of speech.
A fun book to advance a language concept. It fell flat for me a few times, but the intended audience will be sufficiently entertained by the conceit. (Admittedly, I am a tough crowd.)
