A quick read without too much depth. I love books about firemen but found I was slightly put off by the boss/probie element. However I liked the bit of action/drama and the public declaration of love.
2.5*I think Nate just rubbed me the wrong way and took a lot of the enjoyment out of this story for me! IMO he abused his power as a superior, making Kelly do all the shitty jobs just because he could, his brother knew about the relationship and what he was doing and didn't have Kelly transferred! ...
3.5 stars. A sweet and sexy angst free story about a firefighter and his lieutenant and their attraction to each other. All in all an enjoyable read.
