Seth Mason, CCIE #20847, is a Technical Leader with Advanced Services' Data Center team at Cisco Systems. His areas of expertise are SAN Migration, Disaster Recovery, and Fibre Channel over Ethernet. He graduated from Auburn University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Computer Engineering and has focused on Storage ever since, including stints as Product Engineer with IBM's Storage Subsystems Group, Silicon Valley Operations team lead with StorageNetworks Inc, and a Network Consulting Engineer with Andiamo Systems. Seth has continued to further his expertise in storage by authoring both the MDS-9000 Family Cookbook for SAN-OS versions 1.x, 2.x, and 3.x as well as the MDS-9000 Switch to Switch Interoperability Configuration Guide. He is a member of the team that authored the CCIE exam in Storage Networking, and has been presenting at Cisco Live since 2006.
