DEAD AFTER DARK contains 4 paranormal romance stories, with two from a couple of heavy-weight authors in the genre. This anthology was really hard for me to rate because the stories varied from 5 big stars, to meh, to DNF. I would definitely recommend this to fans of J.R Ward though, her contributi...

I only read The story of son, it was great. I really enjoyed it. It was short but really got me I would have liked to read more about Claire and Michael and hows and whys.It definitely doesn't happen in BDB world (no transition, feed once a year, ...)but it happens in Caldwell. It seemed to me that...

Dead After Dark is an anthology of four stories. I initially picked up this book because of the J.R. Ward story "The Story of Son." Personally, this was the best story in the book. The other authors were new to me: Sherrilyn Kenyon, Susan Squires, and Dianna Love. Shadow of the Moon - Sherrilyn Ken...

Well, I just finished reading Fury’s anthology. It’s very brief, full of action and funny, like Fury himself.I only read this anthology because the others have no interest to me – DH series is the only series I’m following right now – so Fury’s story is the only one I want to know about.I actually f...

I enjoyed Ward's story but the others were a little lacking to me. I suppose I was lost with the Kenyon story since I haven't read any of the Dark Hunter's series. It was interesting even though I didn't quite get the time traveling thing, seemed a bit much. The other two I can barely remember so to...

Well, in the end this is going back to the library unfinished. While the first 2 stories were interesting enough, I had to work quite hard to finish the 3rd, and gave up not many pages into the 4th. Maybe I'm over supernatural smut (surely not!) or perhaps I'm just getting fussy. Either way, I found...

I borrowed this just to read Ms. Kenyon's story. I enjoyed it. It was a light read. Dark Hunter stories are always a pleasure for me. The JR Ward was also good. The other two were okay.

5 stars to the Story of Son. I'd love to see these characters woven into the BDB books. (And who is this vampire that seems to be out seeding and abandoning vampire young in the human population???)2 - 3 stars for the other three short stories.

I read "The Story of Son" by J.R. Ward only, for now.LOVED this story. I wish the family would make an appearance in future books in the series, but I'm guessing no. Never the less, it was a heartwarming love story. So anxious to move onto book #6, Lover Enshrined, but due to my new addiction to al...
