I hated the ending but loved the story. In this we learn what happened to Dawson, the brother who died. I'm glad I read it after Obsidian, The abruptness didn't matter so much, since it was a backstory.I'm devastated the brother died though. He was so sweet, but a little stupid too. Well, love can ma...

I went into this without knowing anything. I was surprised by how much I liked it. It’s YA PNR where the non-human is an alien. I didn’t even read the blurb so that was even an unknown to me. I mostly liked the characters and plot throughout, but definitely that ending caught my attention the mos...

I usually don't read prequel novels, but this one was in the back of my copy of Opposition so I thought why not. This was my least favorite of the books that I have read that were set in the Lux world. I did like seeing the background story of the two main characters in this prequel, but it just...

So I finished this one, after reading the first book, and the book in-between (the one from Daemon’s POV). I really wanted to know more about Dawson, and I can say that after reading this book I like him more than I did in the Deamon/Kat books. Why? Well, he was painted quite negatively. That because...

So naturally, I read this out of order! Granted, it didn't change my reading experience with any of the books! It's awesome to get to know Dawson before the DoD gets their hands on him. He's funny, easy-going... practically every adjective you wouldn't use to describe Daemon. Don't get me wrong, I l...

Whoops. I'm always a proponent of when in doubt, read in published order. And I though I checked the release dates. But apparently this was released after Obsidian. This does take place before though. I felt like I was reading "Twilight, this time with aliens". I mean the love thing wasn't that ba...

Dawson and Bethany’s story. A beautiful full-length novel detailing the account of Dawson and Bethany’s meeting, whirlwind romance, and lastly, what really happened before they’re disappearance. I missed Daemon and Katy reading this. I really did. However, Dawson and Bethany’s such intense, immedi...

July 17- 24 Summary -The last thing Dawson Black expected was Bethany Williams. As a Luxen, an alien life form on Earth, human girls are…well, fun. But since the Luxen have to keep their true identities a secret, falling for one would be insane. Dangerous. Tempting. Undeniable. Bethany can’t deny th...

Carino e molto adolescenziale.

Reading prequels to a series, after the first book goes against every fiber of my being. I am really OCD when it comes to reading stuff in order and by order I mean chronological. I just don't like to go back when a story is already ahead. But every review insisted this has to be read after the fi...
