Sadly I won't be able to finish this series because (yes I cheated and read the synopsis to 3.5 so don't read this if you haven't read that) Ann is going to make a couple out of Shannon and Jesse. I always hate it when things like that happen. It's like forcing two characters together so that we don...

Wanted more Chance, Chuch, Eva, Jesse, Shannon, Butch and the second-hand shop in Mexico; less Kel and pointless tramping through the Peruvian jungle so Corine could "prove" herself to Escobar (a rival drug cartel jefe).

Shady Lady is a book that shows tremendous growth in the Corinne Solomon series. Ann Aguirre has this amazing ability to dream up and write extremely unique characters and place the setting of her stories in places that come alive on the pages of her book. Rating: 3.0 starsGenre: Urban Fantasy Shady Lady is the third book in the Corine Solomon series by Ann Aguirre. This story takes place roughly six months from the end of Hell Fire, and Corine’s return from her former hometown. This story, like the previous two, starts out slow, and then builds up to...
Housewife Blues and Chihuahua Stories
Corine Solomon is back and has come into her own in Shady Lady... This story was full of magic and action and some of the most hair raising twists and turns that kept the characters guessing as well as the reader... The only thing about this book that upset me was the way it ended, but other than th...

**I'm trying to keep this short and sweet to not ruin the mystery of the book here.**Corine is back home in Mexico with Shannon and things seem to be going well until she receives a salt and pepper shaker set. Just as Corine goes to pick up one of the set a tall mysterious man walks into her shop, ...
