'A Piece of My Heart' by Sharon Sala is book Four in the "Blessings, Georgia" series. This is the story of Mercy Dane and Police Chief Lon Pittman. The Fiercest Heart: Yet again, Sharon Sala uses the "parents lying to young lovers to keep them apart" plot device. It's so. fucking. tired. I would give this 3 stars.Lethal Lessons: Never expected the twist. The heroine was a bit of a Polly Anna, but otherwise I liked it. 4 stars.

But the local library didn't have it and I couldn't even find an illegally scanned copy online. Lo and behold, OpenLibrary's copy final...

What happened to the bad guy was effin' AWESOME. Sometimes the villains are dealt with too quickly and I kinda loved that this one had to s...
