Five stars because I was pretty blown away by the caliber of this 4th book in the 39 Clues "Vespers" series. Roland Smith certainly upped the ante with plot. I've been left a bit traumatized and can't wait till the next installment.
Why am I still reading this? Inexplicable plot. Unnecessary deaths. Contrived love-triangles. Baseless plot-twists. Zero progress.Self-inflicted, and I knew better.
