A tam stoi sobie kompletny Sandman. Zacząłem go zbierać na studiach i zajęło mi to około dwóch lat. W tedy na s...

It's been over two years since I broke off reading 'Fables' because I'd reached the end of my library's collection. A chance spotting at a used bookstore allowed me to snag the next two books in line. There are couple of hanging plot threads I need to reacquaint myself with, but this was a great c...

Volume II of this series is as gorgeous as Volume I. There are two main stories, only one of which I'd read before. The first, about Lucifer abdicating as ruler of Hell, did not appeal to me as much as the second, about The Cuckoo, with its cast of characters from under-represented groups and very m...

Series: Sandman #5 I wasn’t fussy over the artwork, but the story was really cool (the cuckoo and The Land and everything). I also really liked Wanda (eventually).

*Book source ~ Library From Goodreads: Take an apartment house, mix in a drag queen, a lesbian couple, some talking animals, a talking severed head, a confused heroine, and the deadly Cuckoo. Stir vigorously with a hurricane and Morpheus himself, and you get this fifth installment of the Sandman s...

I can freely admit that I was just happy to have more Bigby and Snow, and that's a huge part of my generous rating. But this was genuinely good. It's very dark and noir. There is some bad language and sexual situations, and the killer is really depraved. Convincing as a murder mystery set in Fableto...

Huge Warning! Do not read this if you haven't read the later volumes of Fables. I made that mistake, and there's a pretty huge spoiler. I had accidentally spoiled myself already on the DC.Wikia website, but that doesn't make it any better. That aside, this was good. Kind of a freaky story. About one...

My least favorite of the group, but I could have just been in a bad mood. Or maybe this one just wasn't for me. I enjoyed the other installments in the series that were short stories, this one just didn't take. However, it sets the stage for vol. 7, which might just be my favorite thus far. So, ya k...

It took me a while to remember the connecting characters with Vol. 2, but the connections of various story lines really increases the enjoyment for me.

A sterling example of the kind of achievement in storytelling that graphic novels/comics can achieve
