This lovely book of coming of age, discovering dark secrets and discovering yourself was wonderfully wound in a perfect blend of breathtaking words. wow. that's a good sentence! I wish the ending was more in depth though. Sigh...oh well.And her 'friend', I'm not too fond of her friend.
Girl has awesome governess.Aunt decides girl needs to debut to society to meet boy.Girl meets boy.Girl meets boy's brother.Girl plays boys with her best friend who has also debuted.Best Friend wins boy.Girl wins boy's brother.It was SO very slow and boring.

A quick, easy read that kinda had rushed finish. I figured out the plot fairly quickly but didn't see the end coming exactly as it is written.
