I like this cute, rhyming book as it’s filled with positive, high energy that would make any person feel good. It’s a book to share with someone that you’re proud of, that you love, or you’re happy to be with because it speaks to anyone who is admired and appreciated. The story’s illustrations are...

The dream train pulls into the station and the cars begin to fill up. Polar bears pack the ice cream, elephants fill tanks with paint, and turtles load race cars. One by one animals load the cars until the train leaves the station. A great read-aloud for kindergarteners and later a great addition...

This is a precious book about construction sites. This book would be very good for younger readers around 1st grade and under. I think that this book would be a good book for nap time stories in pre-k.

Cute book about the construction vehicles as they end their work day and go to sleep. The illustrations are wonderful. Look closely at them for more fun. A delightful book!

This is a weirdly specific book: a going-to-bed book with all the cars of the train named, and animals loading them. The text was fine, but the art was really special. Library copy

One by one, the big machines of the construction site wrap up their work for the day and head for home. Illustrations mingle with text to provide a lovely picture of all in the construction world shutting down and going to sleep.“Pushing with his mighty blade,Bulldozer works to smooth the grade. He c...

Beautiful drawings and a wonderful call and response style (". . . Goodnight, dump truck, goodnight. . .") make this a wonderful book for small children. I loved reading this to my nephew at Christmas. (And yes, I'm counting this towards my goodreads reading goal for 2012.)
