Stilted dialogue, one dimensional characters, very heavy handed with its preachy "this is where food comes from" theme, plus it was boring. the whole thing just felt inauthentic and awkward. cannot recommend this. couldn't even read it.
This was quite sweet and had more going for it than working against it. Kyle was a little too naive for a "city boy", IMO (neglect doesn't equal ignorance), and the way the MCs relationship was handled was a little weak. Also, the sister? What happened there?
