I thought this was a great ending to the series. It had a lot of action and was constantly moving toward closuer, but wasn't so overwhelming that I felt like I was being pulled in 50 different directions so the author could cram everything in. The story was well paced. I wasn't in the mode for ghost...

Another story has ended. I feel very bittersweet right now. I really liked this series and now it's just... over.Shine was definitely a satisfying end. We got our questions answered, relationships were resolved and our characters have developed and grown so much. And it also shows you that the Shade...
Housewife Blues and Chihuahua Stories
I will admit I got the loose ends tied up and somewhat of the ending I hoped for in this the last book of the trilogy but still feel restless and out of sorts after finishing. Sign that my inner geek is not totally satisfied with the way things played out.

Shine was an excellent ending to one of my new favorite series. I admit I was a little hesitant about picking up Shine after the way Shift ended. I didn't know where Jeri Smith-Ready would take this story next but I am happy to say that Shine is my favorite book in the series now. Aura and Zachary a...

Shine is the last book in a trilogy. If you have not read the previous 2 books, you will be confused.Liked:* Still love the world-building and it's only more fleshed-out in this book. Love to hate the DMP!* Aura & Zach are amazing. They're heroes but not in a flashy way, and part of their heroism is...

Some series you never want to end, others you wish would have ended a couple of books ago and then others end at the right time. This series ended at the right time. It's only 3 books long but the author really has wrapped everything up as much as possible leaving a few possibilities out there. G...

I really enjoyed this series finale! Mostly everything happened that I wanted to happen, and it really wraps up nicely. It's everything readers would want for Aura and Zachary. I love the audio because the narrator did a great job with Zachary's accent. Good stuff!
