I started this series quite a while ago and tossed it aside because I just couldn't get into it. This time I listened to it in audiobook format and loved it so much I listened to them in sequence. I enjoyed every moment of it.

This book reminded me of how much I initially enjoyed this series! Everything was so interesting and kept me guessing throughout the story. I also liked how the story was told because (from the little I remember) the mercy-verse books don't usually switch character point of views. Mercy proved...

I had a delightful time with Silence Fallen. I devoured this book and probably would have finished in a day if I didn't have to sleep and be an adult ^_^. It was fun visiting Europe and meeting The Lord of the Night. We see the different players on the other side of the world, not all but we get to ...

This was a really enjoyable addition to the Mercy series, and Briggs' world as a whole. I quite enjoy the way Briggs writes vampires, and this book is absolutely filled with them, including Stefan and Marsilia. Other things to love about this installment: Mercy off on her own being clever, POV chapt...

Mercy is kidnapped and Adam plus friends come to get her. I thought there'd be more kicking ass of the guy that did it but no. One of Adam's attendants was a surprise at the end. It seemed like everyone was running on a treadmill, going nowhere fast. This is a great series and a really good book.

Mercy and her adventures. She certainly continues to grow as a character and gathers an expanding arsenal of powerful allies. Monsters? Maybe. Still, powerful. This particular adventure, has some fun surprises that solidify just how important Mercy is in the scheme of all things supernatural. Basica...

4.75 starsI have been holding off on reading this installment of the Mercy Thompson series until the perfect time for me. In other words, when I needed a pick me up. With a rainy weekend looming, and a gimpy dog to worry me, I decided it was past time to find out what troubles were in store for our ...

It was pretty clear from the pages of Fire Touched that Mercy's little The Doctor to the Sycorax speech was a big deal. But I don't think any of us really had a clue just how far-reaching the potential ramifications were until it's spelled out for us by a few different characters here. Well, okay, t...

Mercy is kidnapped by vampires and is taken to Europe, where she escapes, but has no clothes, no money and no passport and must stay on the run until Adam can find her and neutralise the threat to herself and her pack. I'll admit I was less enthusiastic about this one that I normally am about the ...

Non spoiler, all feels reviewI need to make some chocolate chip cookies. Separated but never separate. Mercy and Adam, win the Best Couple award. He listens to her, he trusts her, unwaveringly, she is the same way back at him. It is a beautiful thing. What a painful ride for Mercy. She is shattered,...
