3.0 Silk and Stone
It's a well-written novel but I didn't find it very interesting to read when I compared it to Deborah Smith's "A place to call home".When the latter was all about true love and family bonding, "silk and stone" is more about revenge in the family

What is it about Ms. Smith? Yet another book where families are from different socioeconomic classes. Vanderveer and Raincrow are the ones who have star crossed lovers. Not as moving for me as some of her other books.
