Simon Groth's stories can go anywhere from tangled relationships and virtual writers to rock music and sleep disorders, a restless range that hints at his mercurial career path. Simon's novels have been shortlisted for major awards in Australia and his short stories have appeared in the United States and Australia (including Meanjin, Overland, and Island). Simon was the co-editor with Sean Sennett of Off The Record: 25 Years of Music Street Press (2010, UQP). Since 2006, his web site at simongroth.com has hosted ongoing experiments in digital storytelling and publishing. Simon is the manager of if:book Australia exploring digital futures for readers and writers. He lives in Brisbane, Australia.
