This had a 90ies/00ies fantasy bad ass superhuman alpha males feel to it. It reminded me of a lot of those typical PNR books from that era.

This was pretty good. I really liked both Dagan and Roxy. I really liked the (very different) take on mythology. I felt the ending was a bit abrupt/rushed. Also not found out- what exactly happened with Lokan, but several pieces are put in place. This is a 4 book series, so I bet everything doe...

This book didn't exactly light my fire from the beginning. The premise was interesting, but I had a hard time connecting to the characters and their love story.Roxy and Dagan first met 11 years ago. As a soul reaper, he was on a mission to collect a dark soul to bring to his father, Sutekh, the God...

Starts out very strong, stumbles a bit in the middle and then about 65% til the end gets very strong again.Dagan Krayl is a half-human, half god. He is also a soul reaper. It is a very special sort of job where he passes judgement on, and sucks the soul out of, some of the most heinous evil doers ...

Well, I liked this book, it was good, I just felt there were parts missing. Dagan and Roxy were drawn to each other immediately. I get that, but there seemed to be too much about the Underworld and the cult and so little about them. Their ending is wrapped up so quick that I hope we read more abo...
Anna Bobs Her Hair - Silent Reader, Talking Books
Very good urban fantasy with an interesting plot and satisfying romance! Three soul reaper brothers and sons of Sutekh are searching the people responsible for the murder of their youngest brother. Dagan is the brother featured in this story. Roxy Tam is a Daughter of Aset, which is also an enemy...
