Alastor and his brothers are still searching for their lost brother. His investigation leads him to the beautiful Naphre who is caught up in a war for her soul. The attraction is undenyable but choices have to be faced up to. I did like the read and the characters and look forward to more, made m...

I enjoyed this book so much! I really liked Naphre and Alastor together. I did think the ending was a bit rushed (and abrupt). The who and why of Lokan's murder is still just as much of a mystery as in book 1. There was a suggestion or inkling of just where Lokan might be and the question of who...

Sins of the Soul takes up exactly where Sins of the Heart ends but brings Alastor up to bat and adds ex-Daughter of Aset, Naphre Kurata into the mix. I couldn't put this book down! I'm waffling between giving it 4.5 or 5 stars based on reading despite the headache, popping Alleve, and ignoring hunger pains. Although, I'm not sure it ranks up there with Magic Strikes by Ilona Andrews. Sins of the Soul, book 2 in a trilogy, continues with the se...

This book is definitely plot driven (which is dragging on a bit). Romance or shall I say longing, is there, it is just in the background which made this book more of an Urban fantasy. ~Won't be continuing the series~

This one starts off shortly after the first books cliffhanger. In this one we are reading the romance between two reluctant characters, Alastor and Naphré. Two characters who find it hard to trust in another and in their surroundings. Both are bound by certain paranoia and a need for control. This d...

This is the second book in Ms. Silver’s Otherkin Trilogy and it picks up immediately where Book #1, Sins of the Heart, finishes. This book centers on Alastor Krayl, the second son of Underworld Egyptian god, Sutekh. The story focuses on Alastor’s committed drive to discover who murdered his youngest...
